There is research around the world on the benefits of dance for those with Parkinson’s. This research is formalised and demands specific types of dance; tango, ballet or similar.
Frankly, any dance will do, and you can dance standing, sitting, lying, in a wheelchair. You can dance with a group, a partner or on your own.
Play your favourite music, and let your body move as it wants to the rhythm.
Dance will enhance mobility, balance, and make you feel better.
